Rocky Gap Casino Resort to Collect Supplies
in Support of the Family Crisis Resource Care Benefit
Flintstone, Md. – April 28, 2023 – Rocky Gap Casino Resort, located at 16701 Lakeview Road NE, will encourage locals and guests to donate household supplies beginning Monday, May 1 through Saturday, June 24 to be donated to the Family Crisis Resource Center.
Rocky Gap Casino Resort will collect new paper towels, toilet paper, paper plates, plastic silverware, trash bags, laundry detergent, dryer sheets or other similar household items. Guest may also go to the casino cashier and donate their True Rewards points, for every 1000 points, Rocky Gap will donate $1, with all points donated tallied at the end and presented in a check along with the physical items collected. Each donation will earn True Rewards members one ticket to be enterted into a drawing for the chance to win $2,000 in free slot play. Members can participate one time per day throughout the promotional timeframe by donating and will receive a ticket for the $2,000 in free slot play grand prize drawing. The drawing will take place at 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 24 and the winner must be present to claim their prize.
The Family Crisis Resource Center’s mission is to provide a safe place for any women who are survivors of domestic or sexual abuse to stay, and assist them in building a life free from abuse for them and their children, in addition to working to reduce the amounts of these crimes in the community.
An avid supporter of the community, Rocky Gap regularly hosts events that give back to the community and local nonprofit organizations including Western Maryland Food Drive, Allegany County Animal Shelter and more. Additionally, the casino resort partners with local businesses such as Queen City Creamery and Western MD Lemonade, both of which are offered on property.
