Rocky Gap Casino Resort Will Rock Out with Platinum Selling 80s Rock Icons, KIX

Flintstone, Md. – May 2, 2022 – Rocky Gap Casino Resort, located at 16701 Lakeview Road NE, will set the stage for a rockin’ day of music with platinum-selling 80s hard rock icons, KIX, and more performing on the driving range at the resort’s Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course on Saturday, May 21.
The outdoor concert will kick off at 3 p.m. with high-energy rock ‘n’ roll from Promising Leith, a local seven-member band that covers hits from the 60s. At 4:30 p.m., Hair Force One will take the stage to celebrate 20 years together. The popular local band has built a following by playing rock ‘n’ roll metal hits and paying tribute to classic hair bands from the 80s.
KIX, who gained popularity in the 1980s and the early 90s with such hits as “Cold Blood,” “Girl Money,” and the chart-topping ballad “Don’t Close Your Eyes,” will be the featured headliners with a set starting at 6 p.m. The energetic band consists of front man Steve Whiteman, bassist Mark Schenker, guitarists Brian Forsythe and Bob Pare and drummer Jimmy Chalfant.
